ABSTRACT
El tratamiento de recesiones gingivales atrae un gran interés no solo para los odontólogos sino de pacientes, los cuales muestran gran preocupación, principalmente al factor estético asociado a esta condición. Diversas técnicas han sido propuestas para la obtención del recubrimiento radicular, entre ellas, el injerto de tejido conjuntivo sub - epitelial, el cual se convirtió en una de las formas mas difundidas entre los periodoncistas. El grado de recubrimiento es muy relativo, variando principalmente de acuerdo con las características clínicas y el grado de experiencia y destreza manual del cirujano. The treatment of gingival recessions has been attracted interest from both the dental practice as well as patients concerned mainly with the aesthetic factor associated with this condition. A variety of techniques have been offered to obtain root recovering. One of them, the subepithelial grafting of connective tissue became one of the tools most prevalent among the periodontists. The quantity of recovery is relative, depending mainly of the clinical aspects and the experience and manual dexterity of the surgeon.
